Join us for this Special Day of Storytelling, mini-workshops and Community Connection
with a team of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Practitioners

This exciting community storytelling and workshop event is being held at the Doncaster Playhouse this month!
on Saturday 26th October.
The team of 4 storytellers from Nonviolent Communication Australia will be sharing their stories about finding the empathy and courage to transform their personal relating through the trials of everyday family and workplace relating.
Story topics include:
- finding self-compassion while parenting an adult child with autism
- applying self-empathy to find meaning and purpose after the death of a loved one
- digesting and communicating about everyday impacts with the people in our lives to avoid emotional explosions
- navigating family mental health with compassionate understanding
The event will focus on the power of Nonviolent Communication to foster connection and compassion in the relationships that matter to us, giving active strategies to address the pain of ongoing misunderstandings and the loneliness that often results.
In addition to the storytelling, participants will also be invited to engage in mini-workshop activities to deepen their own understanding and self-empathy skills for navigating their relating situations.
The storyteller team hosting this event are Tracey Steddy, Samantha Wittenberg, Kaz T. Anderson, Cherie Scott

You are encouraged to byo lunch so that you can spend the time enjoying the company of others at the venue and the outdoors nearby if the weather is fine. There are also cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
